Basra University holds a qualitative lecture on healthy nutrition to control weight gain

The Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Basra, in collaboration with the Mirror Empowerment Unit, held a qualitative lecture entitled "Healthy feeding to control weight gain" in the presence of a gathering of teachers, college staff and students.
The lecture attended by sports nutritionist and fitness trainer Mohammed Radi aims at detailing obesity and weight gain, questioning its risks and its negative impact on public health, as well as encouraging physical activity of diapers and preventing obesity.
The lecturer pointed out that the use of medicines may lead to obesity and should consult a doctor. The lecturer focused on paying attention to schoolchildren and accustoming them to healthy and balanced food at an early age to maintain ideal weight, raise society's awareness of the risks of obesity and change the pattern of food in the home to raise generations where obesity is reduced.
