The Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Dentistry, in cooperation with the Media Department of the Basra Police Command and the Continuing Education Unit, organized a lecture on combating drugs.

The lecture aimed to shed light on the health and psychological harms of drugs, and the negative impact on the individual and society. The lecturers presented a comprehensive discussion on the dangers and effects of drug abuse, as well as providing practical information and advice on how to confront drug challenges and seek help when needed.

The lecture pointed to the vital role that education and awareness can play in combating this phenomenon.
