The Faculty of Medicine, in cooperation with the Women's Affairs Division and in partnership with the Basra Police Command and the Psychological and Educational Guidance Unit and the Continuing Medical Education Unit, organized an educational seminar on the phenomenon of harassment.

The aim of the seminar was to raise awareness about this negative phenomenon and its adverse effects on society and to draw attention to the seriousness of harassment and to promote understanding on how to prevent and address these unacceptable behaviors.

 The symposium emphasized the importance of addressing harassment and encouraging joint action between various official bodies and civil society to prevent such unacceptable behaviors and provide a safe environment for all.
