The University of Basrah launches the largest anti-drug campaign in the governorate under the auspices of the President of the University of Basra and the implementation of the Women’s Empowerment Division at the university and the Office of the High Commission for Human Rights in Basra (Let’s Stop Drugs) project in its 8 stages, which includes
▪️ Awareness shots have begun to be published on all display screens in Basra Governorate
▪️Producing a short film
It will be shown on satellite media channels
▪️ Starting after quarterly exams
The University launched an awareness campaign with more than 50 dialogue sessions with students, in cooperation with the Directorate for Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances
▪️ Distribution of 15,000 awareness brochures to students and the people of the governorate
▪️ More than 100 colorful advertisements were published throughout the governorate
▪️ Launching an advocacy campaign to create
3 asylums (forced) 3 (elective)
▪️ Launching an advocacy campaign
(Monitor and fortify the borders and crossings)
▪️Preparing  sessions and lectures  for detainees and inmates
