The Educational Guidance and Psychological Guidance Unit, in cooperation with the College’s Women’s Empowerment Committee and the Department of Management Information Systems, organized an awareness-raising workshop entitled (Adherence to university uniform is a civilized, cultural and societal phenomenon)

The workshop included the phenomenon of uniforms in Iraqi universities and its impact on many aspects of life, including the economic aspect, as equality between students is achieved by applying it to reduce economic disparities and by making the rich and poor equal, and that not implementing it often led to the student feeling inequality, and then discomfort and tension. Psychological.

The workshop aimed to build the student’s personality and enhance his identity by adhering to the university uniform, preparing him well, and developing his abilities to face difficulties in practical life. In order to build an effective personality in society.

In conclusion, the workshop recommended the necessity of implementing uniform dress in our educational institutions because of its educational and cultural dimensions in stabilizing the academic situation, and a commitment to decency and dignity so that universities remain safe scientific edifices that are worthy of their sanctity.
